Terms of use

What Racquet does and does not do, what is expected of those who use it, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Version 2026-10-05

1. Who operates Racquet

Racquet (the "platform" or the "service") is operated by Data Pulse — Bitton Eliran, Business ID 024131856, 4/1 Havatzelet St., Kiryat Shmona (the "operator", "we"). These terms are the agreement between you and the operator regarding the use of the platform, the website, the browser app and any related service.

These terms are written in the masculine form for convenience only, and address all genders.

2. Consent, applicability and age

Opening an account, signing in to an account or using any part of the platform constitutes consent to these terms and to the Privacy policy, which forms an integral part of them. Anyone who does not agree is asked not to use the service.

Use of the platform is permitted from age 18 and over. Anyone under 18 may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian. By opening an account you declare that you are 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, or — if you are under 18 — that a parent or guardian has agreed to your use of the platform under these terms and the privacy policy.

A parent can link their account to their child's account (a "parent account") and manage it until age 16, as described in the Privacy policy.

Anyone acting on behalf of a club, business or shop declares that they are authorised to bind that body to these terms.

3. What the platform is, and what it is not

Racquet is a brokerage platform: a place where tennis, padel and pickleball players find coaches, racquet stringers, clubs, playing partners and other services, and contact them. The platform displays profiles, allows sending a service request and negotiating it, and allows clubs to publish courts that have become free.

We may add, change or remove features of the platform, including shutting it down entirely, with reasonable advance notice where possible.

4. Account and sign-in

Registration is by email address or, in Israel, by mobile phone number, with a password and a six-digit one-time code sent to the address or number. A phone number is added to the account only after it has been verified with a code sent to it, and, like the email address, it is used as a sign-in identifier. The account is opened as soon as the code is verified. Actions that present you to others as a professional — offering services as a service provider, marking a certificate as verified, or the first publication of a club, store or academy — require separate approval by the platform staff.

5. Code of conduct

The platform serves a small community of people who play together. Therefore:

A breach of these rules allows us to remove content, suspend or close an account, and in serious cases — to contact the authorities.

6. Reporting and blocking

In chat you can block a user, so that they cannot send you messages, and unblock them at any time. Report a person or content by opening a support case from within the app, with the case type "Report a user". A report reaches the platform's team of administrators, who decide whether to act; the decision and its reasons are recorded.

Reports must be made in good faith. Repeated false reports are themselves a breach of these terms.

7. What "verified certificate" means

A service provider can upload to the platform a document attesting to a qualification — for example an instructor or coach certificate. The document is stored privately and is not shown to the public. A platform staff member checks it, and only an approved certificate receives the "Verified" mark on the public profile.

This mark means exactly one limited thing:

The mark does not mean:

We may remove a verification mark at any time, among other things if the certificate expires, a report is received, or a flaw in the check is discovered. The decision and its reasons are recorded. The choice of whom to train with, and which further checks to make, is yours.

8. Club, business and shop accounts

A club, business or shop (an "organisation") is a separate entity on the platform, with owners and managers who are registered users. An organisation page can include a name, logo, address, description, documents, services, jobs and courts that have become free.

9. Content you upload

The content you upload — display name, description, profile picture, services, prices, messages, certificates, logos and organisation documents — remains yours.

So that we can display it, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence for the period of your use of the service to copy, process (for example, shrink a picture), display and distribute the content within the platform and in every channel through which it is accessible, according to the visibility settings you chose. The licence ends when you remove the content or close the account, except for copies in backups for the retention period set out in the privacy policy, and except for content already delivered to another user as part of a service request.

Certificates and organisation documents are not shown to the public and are not included in the display licence; the licence for them is limited to review by the platform staff and to storage.

We will not use your content — for example club names or pictures — to advertise the platform outside it without your separate consent.

10. Last-minute courts

A club can publish a court that has become free, with a date, time, regular price and sale price. Pressing "Take" sends a request to the club — not a binding booking and not a payment. The club approves or rejects, and the settlement is made directly with the club. The platform does not guarantee that the court will be free, that the published price will be honoured, or that the club will respond.

11. Payments and one-time charges

As of this version, payment on the site has not been activated yet. This section describes the terms that will apply once it is activated; until then, no payment is collected on the site.

What you pay for, and to whom

One-time charges only

Cancel

Cancellation requests, termination of the engagement and refunds will be handled in accordance with the applicable law, the type of transaction and the terms shown before the purchase, without derogating from rights that cannot be waived by agreement. The ways to contact us and the transaction cancellation form are in the cancellation policy.

12. Suspension, closure and deletion of an account

By the platform

We may suspend or close an account if these terms have been breached, if the law requires it, if the account endangers other users or the system, or if it has not been used for 24 months. Where possible, we will give notice in advance and allow a response. Every suspension is recorded, with its reason, in the audit trail.

By you

You can close the account yourself from your profile in the app. Closing cancels all active sign-ins and hides the profile, the services and the certificates. The personal information will be deleted at your request or 30 days after closure, by the platform staff, as described in the privacy policy. You can also ask for the account to be closed through a support case from within the app or at the address in section 18.

Closing an account does not cancel obligations already entered into between you and another user, and does not delete records that the law requires us to keep.

13. Intellectual property

The name Racquet, the logo, the design, the code, the structure of the catalogues and the original rating scales belong to the operator or its licensors. They may be used only within the service. Third-party trademarks (including those of certifying bodies and external rating systems) belong to their owners.

14. Liability and its limitation

The platform is provided in its current state (as is) and as available. We try to keep it working continuously and accurately, but do not undertake to do so: there may be faults, maintenance downtime, loss of information written since the last backup, and errors in content.

Nothing in these terms derogates from any right that cannot be waived by agreement under Israeli law, including under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741–1981, to the extent that it applies, or from liability for damage caused wilfully or through gross negligence.

You undertake to indemnify the operator for reasonable expenses it incurs due to a third-party claim arising from your breach of these terms or from content you uploaded, provided that we notify you of the claim and allow you to take part in the defence.

15. Privacy

What information is collected, why, who sees it and how it is deleted — it is all in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

16. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. Each version has a number and a date shown at the top of the page. A material change will be published in the app and sent by email to the address saved in the account at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires it to apply immediately. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new version; anyone who does not agree may close their account before then.

The version of the terms you accepted and the time of acceptance are recorded in your account — at registration, and each time you approve a new version in the app.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute relating to the platform are governed exclusively by Israeli law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv–Jaffa district, Israel. Nothing in this derogates from any jurisdiction that cannot be excluded by agreement under law.

If any clause of these terms is held to be invalid, the remaining clauses will remain in force. A waiver of one breach is not a waiver of any other breach.

18. Contact

Questions about these terms, reports of a breach or a request to close an account — to the address below, or by opening a support case from within the app.
